Review: Dior 5 Couleurs Palette in Stylish Move

Is there anything more exciting and satisfying than a fancy makeup purchase? I mean, besides lemon cupcakes fresh out of the oven (I just made a batch). I was lucky enough to get a mini Stylish Move palette on Ebay.

Some may say that a mini isn’t as great as the full-sized version. I think having the opportunity to try a Dior palette is amazing as it is.

The swatches:

This is possibly the easiest review I have ever done. There hardly anything bad to say about this palette. The colors are gorgeous, work well with my skin color (and will work for many skin tones), buttery soft, glide on smoothly, and are very pigmented. I got about 7 hours of wear time with no smudging or fading.

The one downside is the price. I paid $10.50 for my mini version on Ebay. The retail price for a full sized palette is $58. It’s not a designer name for no good reason.

Pros: Excellent on so many levels: pigmentation, texture, color, easy to work with, good range of shades within the palette.
Cons: Very expensive, unless you can bid on one on Ebay. Or beg a friend for a Sephora gift card.

Grade: A

Available at Sephora stores, www.sephora.com, higher end department stores.
