The Toolbox: Essence of Beauty Control Powder Brush

Welcome to another installment of The Toolbox, where I’ll be discussing my favorite brushes and beauty tools. Today’s entry is the Essence of Beauty Control Powder brush.

Unlike those floppy, huge powder brushes, this one offers better control and very densely packed bristles. Powder products get put in their place.

It’s easier to use than it looks. One might think too much powder ends up on the face when using this brush, but I find that careful strokes with the brush allows the powder to disperse evenly across the skin’s surface, without dusting away most of the powder.

Intended for: Facial powder.
Where it lives: One in my pro kit, one in my personal kit.
Price: $7-ish
Alternatives: I have not found one, but if you think you know of one, leave a comment!
