At GAZE’s “Virgin Finale” shoot, Tashina and Janeva were fun, energetic and enthusiastic about shooting for the online magazine.

I was equally thrilled to work on their amazing faces.

The photographer is very inspired by Madonna, and the makeup look was based on her bright red lips circa 1984. I decided to update the look by giving the models coral-red lips, since coral is so popular this year.

Face: DHC Velvet Skin Coat (primer; she loved the way this felt on her face!), Nix’ie Cream Foundations in Beige 6 and Tantone 12, Ben Nye Neutral Setting Powder.

Eyes: UD Original Primer Potion, Smashbox Torch e/s mixed with MAC Amber Lights e/s (lid), Smashbox Java e/s (outer v and crease), NYX Nude and Sahara (browbone), Sephora Keep Kohl Eye Pencil in Keep Brown (lower lashline), Maybelline The Falsies Volume Mascara (top & bottom lashes).

Eyebrows: Brushed and filled in with NYX Dark Brown e/s.

Cheeks: Revlon PhotoReady Cream Blush in Coral Reef.

Lips: Revlon Super Lustrous Lipsticks in Kiss Me Coral mixed with Scarlet Velvet and applied to her lips, then topped with Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Certainly Red.

Face: Same as Tashina. I altered the ratios of the two foundation shades, because Janeva’s skin tone is obviously different.

Eyes: Same as Tashina, with the exception of the mascara. We used Janeva’s personal mascara (Revlon CustomEyes Mascara in Black).

Cheeks: Same as Tashina.

Lips: NARS Heat Wave Lipstick.
