My grandmother, my sister, my cousin and most of the women on both sides of my family love soap operas. They watch all those shows: All My Children, Days of Our Lives, and The Bold and the Beautiful. I have never understood their fascination with those dramas. My grandmother likes to slut shame the women for kissing men they aren’t married to. But the others? Goodness only knows.
I stay away from all that TV drama (and steamy affairs). This polish is as close as I will ever get to a soap opera viewing.
It’s a glimmery yellow gold loaded with gold glitter. The glitter was not too chunky or difficult to work with. I was able to achieve a very nice opacity with two coats. My nails didn’t feel too bumpy after the polish dried.
I loved the results! My nails were glimmery and seemed to be “winking” at me all day.
The yellow tones were not too mustardy or unwearable for me. It wasn’t too gold, which I know is a problem for many people who feel they cannot wear gold polish for this reason.
I bought it for $2 at Rite Aid. Will you pick this up?

This is such a pretty gold! I’m not sure if I own it or not. I’m going to check so I can buy it if i don’t!
I don’t understand soap operas either. I find them kind of boring and they move at such a slow pace. It feels like you could stop watching for a few months and not even miss anything.
I think soaps are just downright silly. I remember watching one scene where a man was getting drunk off of mini bottles of alcohol, and they played dramatic music like it was a big deal, all melodramatic and full of slo-mo techniques. Ridiculous…
that’s a fab color!!looks great
soaps all over the world are bad aren’t they?? here in India, you get the worst kind ever!!
Now I’m curious about Indian soaps.
How bad are they exactly? “I’m pregnant by my brother” bad, or “shoulder pads are stylish” bad?
hahaha…”in-laws trying to bump you off” and “getting married gazillion times and then coming back to the first one” and the worst “i apply ten layers of makeup and dress over the top while at home” kinds…and after typing this, i realised that this common thread is seen in soaps all over
LMAO! That’s just like American soaps!
