I’m back in school, you guys! I’m taking Knights & Chivalry, European Politics and Social Science Research Methods. I can’t wait to see how things go this spring semester.

Here’s what I’ve been enjoying this past month.

1) Son of Baldwin: Similar to Guerilla Feminism (which I mentioned in another CF post), SoB is an online community that discusses social justice issues and partakes in online activism. I’ve been enjoying their posts, responses and insights. The community talks about LGBT issues, racism (particularly against black people), US foreign policy, and many other fascinating topics. Check out their Facebook page.

2) Rolen Stout’s music: His flute music strikes me in the chest every time I hear it. He’s on Youtube, Twitter and Facebook.

3) Nikon Coolpix camera: A small, efficient, reliable camera that I can slip in my purse and use to capture street and nature photography. I bought mine refurbished last year and it’s been working out great f0r me.

4) Essie Mint Candy Apple: Described as “menthol light green nail polish” on Essie’s website, this one is right up there with China Glaze For Audrey as the ultimate shade of it’s shade family. It’s a pale minty aqua color. I bought a mini bottle,  but I think I’ll go right ahead and get the full sized one.

5) Homemade salsa verde: My friend Anahi makes the best salsa verde. No biases, just facts. :D I’ve been topping off my huevos rancheros with her tasty version. I didn’t get to snap a pic, so here’s one of someone else’s salsa verde.

What have you all been loving recently?
