MAC Evolution Revolution Giveaway- For International Readers Only!

Rock n Roll had a “nice girl” moment. She decided to give up her tube of MAC Evolution Revolution to one lucky international reader. As you can see, she was hesitant to part with it.

Mine! All mine!

It took a bit of persuading and a few cans of tuna to get her to relent.

Okay, fine. I'll let you have it THIS TIME. But I want extra caviar at dinner and a new diamond collar.

At least she agreed to host this giveaway. It could have been worse. We could have been asking for space at her favorite window sill. You know she’d  have to disappoint us.

Swatch of Evolution Revolution

Evolution Revolution on bare lips.

So here’s how to enter:

1) You must be 18 or older.

2) You must live in a country other than the U.S or Canada. Those with U.S or Canadian addresses will be disqualified.

3) Leave one comment telling me something you love about your country. What’s the national dish? What sport is your country famous for? Things of that nature.

4) Please only comment once. Rock n Roll will be most displeased if you don’t follow the rules. And take my word for it: you don’t want to irritate her.

5) This contest ends on August 11, 2001.  The winner will be notified by email.

My country is Singapore! One thing i love about the country is that it is a cosmopolitan country, yet we are one of the most peaceful and safest place to live in. the racial harmony here is amazing, plus the security here is really good and strong too (its so safe here)! also, i am able to experience different worlds and cultures, indian, chinese, malay, all in one place. Lastly, i’m proud of my country because although we don’t have any natural resources, our economic success is really high! we consider man as our only resource, so hard work in various sectors with top notch people, plus trade made us who we are today, a successful country 🙂

My country is known for many dishes, some of which are chicken rice and chilli crab. Our national flower is the Vanda Miss Joakim, an orchid discovered by a lady, Miss Joakim (surprise surprise!) hmm, our national day’s on the 9th of August. oh, and we hosted the very first Youth Olympic Games last year 🙂

oops, sorry my bad! Its Vanda Miss Joaquim, not Vanda Miss Joakim Xp

My country is Romania. I love a lot of things about it, although I know it is a country with a lot of faults and things that could be greatly improved.
I love the people here, their playful spirits, always ready for a fun time or a party.
I love the fact that both the mountain and the sea are a 3 hours drive away from where I live, so I can just jump in the car and go spend a lovely week-end both in summer and in winer.
I love the food here, because everybody cooks a lot and with great talent and everything is always delicious, even though it is packed with calories. One of the traditional dishes are “saramale” and “mamaliga”, they are often eaten together and somehow I always associate them with the holidays.
I love the fact that we have 4 seasons and I get to freeze to the bone in winter, watch the trees bloom in spring, sweat like mad in the summer and enjoy the autumn chill.
I love a lot of things about my country, and I am proud to be a Romanian.
