A Friendly Reminder to My Readers

I started this blog to educate and inform others about makeup: what it is, how to use it, why you shouldn’t run past it in the drugstore. What this means is that it’s as much your blog as it is my blog. I am here to please you all. If there’s something you want to see, such as more reviews, more tutorials (one coming up soon) or more swatches, please please please let me know by emailing or leaving a comment. I would love to get more feedback from you guys about what you want to see on The Makeup Train.

For example: one thing I have tried to do is feature other people in my tutorials (besides me). It is more useful to more people to see how makeup is done on others. If you have a request, please ask me and I will do my very best to oblige. Do you want to see a work-friendly tutorial for blue eyes? Summer makeup for dark skin? I am not sure what you want to see next, but I would be happy to photograph another tutorial for you all.

The Makeup Train keeps chugging and choo-chooing along because of my readers. I am grateful to each and every one of you who take the time to read my blog. My giveaways are one way I thank my readers. I’d love to know what else I can do to make The Makeup Train a happier, shinier place on the Internet.

I would love to see more swatches of lightpinks in nail polishes like Essie Fiji etc…you are the only blog i have found that shows how nail polish colors show up on darker skin tones…seeing your nails REALLY helps me decide which colors will suit my hands! love all your swatches so far just noticed not too many pinks 😦 also would love to see you do a glam neutral. Meaning its very light brown/neutral but still glam (like using amberlights by MAC but still keeping it neutral) would love to see that! thanks for all your great posts ❤ your blog

    • The thing is, I am not a fan of light neutral pinks, so that’s why you don’t see too many swatches of that particular color. But I will keep your suggestion in mind for the future. 🙂 And I will certainly come up with a glam neutral tutorial. Thanks for reading my blog!
