Lipstick Lust: Revlon Mulled Wine

Welcome to the first installment of Lipstick Lust, where I’ll be swatching and discussing my favorite shades of lipstick. This will most likely be useful for tanned/darker ladies, as I’ll be swatching on myself, but I may include swatches of my favorite shades for other people.

One of my HG lipsticks (we’ve been BFFs since 2007) will be feature in LL’s debut: Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Mulled Wine

I was looking for a red shade to replace my discontinued Avon Wonder Wine. I spotted this lovely at CVS. It’s a warm brick red creme.

It looks less orange in person. I get so many envious comments whenever I wear it. For a time, I would go through a tube every month.

This is found at most drugstores and costs about $8. Cosmetics Warehouse sells it for $4, and on Tuesdays and Fridays (during discount hours), it costs $3.20.

This looks great on you! I wish I could pull off red lipstick but I end up looking like a clown, haha.
