The Toolbox: Loew Cornell Maxine’s Mop Brush in 3/8”

Welcome to The Toolbox, where I’ll be discussing beauty tools I love. Today we’re looking at the best dupe of MAC 239 brush I have heard of: Loew-Cornell Maxine’s Mop brush in 3/8”.

It’s really just perfect for precise eyelid application. The white bristles aren’t my first choice, but they clean pretty well. I’m so happy to have found an alternative to the expensive MAC 239. I bought this on Michael’s Craft Store also sells Loew-Cornell brushes.

Intended for: Eyeshadow application.
Price: $5ish
Where it lives: My personal kit.
Alternatives: MAC 239.

My Michaels is always out of stock with this one 😦 I have the other one with the green handle that looks like a 217 but, I discovered that only after getting a 217…must get this soon!
