Makeup Breakdowns: Jessica Ostrow

Jessica worked with GAZE Ezine over the summer at a fashion shoot.  We decided to focus on the eyes with a slightly smokey brown eyeshadow gradation and winged black liner. Lips and cheeks were kept simple and pretty with rose blush and soft pink creme lipstick.

Face: DHC Velvet Skin Coat (primer), Nix’ie Cream Foundations in Beige 3 and Neutral 2 (all over face), Cover FX Concealer in Medium (under eyes), Ben Nye Neutral Setting Powder (all over face).

Eyes: NYX Nude and UD Blunt (lid), NYX Dark Brown and Dark Shade from NYX Honeycomb e/s (crease and outer v, blended), Wet n Wild Brulee and NYX Sahara (inner corner of eye and browbone), MAC Blacktrack Fluidline (upper lashline), Maybelline The Falsies mascara (upper lashes), NYX False Strip Lashes.

Eyebrows: Brows were brushed into place.

Cheeks: Ni’xie Delicate and Sensuous blushes, mixed and blended along the cheekbones and apples of her cheeks.

Lips: A combination of Revlon Super Lustrous Lipsticks in Blushed Mauve, Cherry Blossom and Pink Velvet. I used a lip brush to apply the final shade.

Later on, I changed her lip color to a vampy deep red. The shade is from Black Radiance.
