My Favorite Red Lipsticks- Part I

I think every woman cannot avoid that search for the perfect red. It’s the color that looks good with every outfit, instantly brightens up your face, and is a classic shade. From the palest beauties to the darkest lovelies, red lipstick looks good on everyone.

And I know some of you will say, “It never looks good on me!“. Not true. You just haven’t found your right shade of red.  Lisa Eldridge did a video that might help you.

Here are my favorites. I labeled this post “Part I” because my obsession with red is far from over. 🙂

1) Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Mulled Wine

2) Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Blackberry

3) MAC Charred Red

4) MAC Dark Side (this is more burgundy-red)

5) Wet n Wild Red Velvet (a great true red)

6) Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Cherries in the Snow (I have to swatch this one. It’s one of the best reds in my pro kit).

Tell me what your favorite red lipsticks are, and be sure to let me know what your skintone is (whether in MAC language or otherwise).
