China Glaze Happy HoliGlaze Nail Lacquers in Put a Bow On it and This is Tree-Mendous

I chose two of the polishes from China Glaze’s 2013 Holiday collection.

A green shade seemed to be inevitable for me, since I cherish green polish. Put a Bow On It caught my attention when I saw it on the amazing Amie’s blog.

Put a Bow On It:

It’s a sparkly plum textured polish with magenta glitter.

I usually get lasting results with CG polishes, but Put a Bow On It chipped so badly on me. 😦 The very next day, I noticed  a sizable chip on my index.

This is Tree-Mendous:

It’s a grass green color with gold and green microglitter. It’s a glitter polish in clear base, so it appears sheer in some spots.

On me it’s a little lighter than the bottle color (my tanned skin makes the green seem more subdued). It’s a deeper green in the bottle.

I’m going to play with these a little and see if PABOI works better layered over a creme polish.
