Maybelline Color Show Polka Dots Nail Lacquer in Clearly Spotted and Drops of Jade

I scored two bottles of Polka Dots nail polish at the Cosmetics Market for $2 each.

I love when that happens. The more money I save on nail polish the more money goes into the “Christina pays back the loan goblin for that time when she needed an invisibility potion” fund.

It’s important to be reliable and trustworthy when you’re dealing with goblins, ya know. 😉

From left to right: Clearly Spotted (one coat then two coats), Drops of Jade (two coats then one coat).

I like them both, but it’s pretty obvious that Clearly Spotted works best over a more opaque polish.

Drops of Jade is a cute shade. It can be built up on layers, but it’s not an annoying polish to work with on its own.

Both shades weren’t too difficult to apply. They went on pretty smoothly and didn’t require much work to distribute the polka dots.

I kinda wish Drops of Jade were more opaque, but the color is adorable and so is the jelly finish!
