Until I tried this eyeliner, I think the last spiced chocolate I had was this one.
Which one do I love more? Keep reading to find out.
It claims to wear all day.
Is this true?
We shall see…………
It’s a twist up, slim pencil.
It applies fairly smoothly. I didn’t experience much tugging or dragging with this.
It’s a soft chocolate brown. It’s more milk chocolate than dark chocolate.
There is a subtle shimmer in this. It’s very faint, however. I think it does add a little sparkle without appearing too glittery.
So how did I like it?
It lasted on me for about 4 hours without much fading. By hour cuatro, I could see a bit of wear. By hour cinco, I could see it fading more than I liked.
I didn’t have any allergy issues or any problems with shimmer in my eye. I also didn’t really need to sharpen this as the fine point was fine enough for me to apply it to my upper and lower lashlines.
Pros: Good texture, no tugging on skin, decent color pay off, easy to use applicator.
Cons: Only lasts 4 hours.
I think my oily lids had a hand in the shortening of the wear time. If you have normal-dry lids, this might last longer than you.
I wish it did last longer on me because I do like the soft effect of brown eyeliner on my tan skin. It’s softer than black, and it’s a more subtle eye makeup look for the summer. I think I will keep this and set it with brown eyeshadow.
Overall, it’s not a bad drugstore choice. If you’re in need of a brown eyeliner, this one is worth looking at.
