16 Amazing Oils for Your Skin

I was killing time on Pinterest (the favorite site of many a time-waster) when I found this great chart.

It’s arranged by category.

3) Flaxseed Oil- Also known as linseed oil. Softens skin while providing essential fatty acids.

4) Sea-Buckthorn Oil- Rich in omega-3, 6, 7, and 9 oils.

Second Row: Moisturizing

2) Coconut Oil-has the added benefit of helping to reduce bacteria on the skin.

3) Brazil Nut Oil- A high selenium content offers strong antioxidant properties.

4) Avocado Oil- Rich in vitamins, fatty acids, and antioxidants, especially Vitamin E.

Third Row: Problem-Solving

1) Tea Tree Oil- Antiseptic properties help fight acne.

2) Rosehip Seed Oil-  Rich in essential fatty acids and Vitamin A.

3) Grapeseed Oil- Regulates oily skin and brightens with Vitamin C.

4) Peppermint Oil- Reduces redness and through anti-inflammatory properties.

Fourth Row: Calming & Repairing

1) Chamomile Oil- Possessed anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties, which calm and fight off infection.

2) Black Current Oil- Rich in fatty acids and has anti-inflammatory properties.

3) Evening Primrose Oil- Long used to treat eczema, especially in folk and alternative medicine.
