Cover Girl Star Wars Outlast Nail Polish in Nemesis and Emerald Blaze

I’m not a huge Star Wars fan, but I couldn’t help getting pulled into the Cover Girl releases which are tied to the franchise. I picked up two bottles of nail polish from CVS back in December.

Nemesis is your typical neighborhood vampy red shade.

It’s sort of an oxblood color.

As you can see, it’s not the most opaque color in just two coats. I think I could get better results with three coats.

Emerald Blaze:

Emerald Blaze is a bright green with a frost finish. It applied decently in two coats. It was a touch thick, but nothing I can’t handle.

It has that duochrome effect when you first apply it. It’s hard to see it in photos.

I think hardcore Star Wars fans who also love nail polish would like these. I wouldn’t say these are must-haves, but since I already own them and don’t hate them, I would keep them.  Emerald Blaze is worth looking into if you love greens, but Nemesis is surpassed by better vampys.
