OPI Russian Navy

Russian Navy and I have a long and dramatic history.

It first sailed my way in 2009 when I purchased it. I was just starting my now-massive nail polish collection and I needed a deep navy blue shade.

Eventually, I acquired so many navy blues that I decided this Navy should dock elsewhere. So I swapped it away.

Recently, I was looking at photos of Russian Navy online and I realized I missed my adorable deep-blue bottle. So I ordered a new bottle and we are reunited!

It’s a deep, true navy with subtle shimmer.

It applies nicely in just two coats. It looks much richer and plush in person.

I’m happy. I got what I wanted. ๐Ÿ™‚ Do you all like this shade?

  1. I can see why you ordered it again. I tend to do that a lot too lol.

  2. I prefer a creamier finish but the shade is really beautiful.
