Review: Chagrin Valley Aloe Aloe Aloe Soap

This is from that haul from long ago.

From the website:

“A natural soap loaded with aloe vera. Rich in natural moisture, aloe leaves are filled with gel and juice that contain more than 75 known substances, including vitamins, minerals, enzymes, proteins, polysaccharides and biological stimulators.

  • Organic aloe is prized for its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties:
    • adds a silky texture to soap
    • leaves skin soft and smooth
    • is a soothing, emollient
    • moisturizes and protects
  • The lemony aroma of the essential oil blend is clean and refreshing”

Aloe Aloe Aloe is a mild, gentle soap with good lather and great cleansing results. I didn’t detect much of a lemon scent on mine, but it did have a nice mild scent and smelled of “clean” (meaning it has a fresh and light scent that isn’t too floral, fruity, musky or spicy). It washed off all grime, oil and sweat and left my skin in a state that wasn’t too dry or too oily. I felt very comfortable after showering with this.

I think this is a great summer soap. If you get rather sweaty in the summer (more than the average person), consider buying this.

Pros: Neutral scent, washes one clean, doesn’t leave behind soap residue, doesn’t dry out skin.
Cons: Can only order it from the website (not available in most stores).

Grade: A

You can purchase this from Chagrin Valley Soap and Salve.
