Ole Henriksen Sheer Transformation

Transformation? You mean like reviews of Nicole Kidman in The Hours?

No, silly goose! I mean a blue-labelled jar of moisturizer from Ole Henriksen.

I wound up with a little pot of this gentle white cream in my 3 Little Wonders + Cleanse kit.

From the website:

“So sheer in texture, this luxurious oil-free cream feels light and silky as it penetrates the skin and helps fade discolorations such as freckles, age spots and sun damage without the use of chemicals. Instantly nourishes and retexturizes the skin, smoothes facial lines and provides intense free radical protection to prevent further damage.
Benefits
  • Actiwhite™ and licorice Prevents and corrects discoloration and evens skin tone with an effective combination of pea extract and sugar
  • Vitamin C Stimulates collagen production
  • Fruit acids Retexturizes and soothes lines
  • Sandalwood, geranium, licorice and chamomile Soothes, replenishes, balances and purifies the skin
  • Vitamin E Heals, restores and nourishes the skin
Formulated Without
  • Parabens
  • Sulfates
  • Phthalates”

I have been using this in conjunction with the Invigorating Night Treatment. I first apply a thin layer of INT, rub it into my skin until it’s mostly sunk in, then I apply a thin layer of ST.

I leave my face alone and allow it to “drink in” the products. I do this a few hours before I go to bed (so I start the treatment just after work when I get home and wash my makeup off). I sit up and allow my skin some time to absorb the products.

I have found this moisturizer to be excellent at keeping my face soft and smooth. Working with INT as a duo, ST makes my skin tone more even, reduces fine lines, and does seem to nourish my skin and make it more radiant. I’ve never experienced a breakout or negative side effects while using this cream.

I would be willing to repurchase the full-sized jar. It’s a non-greasy, light cream that goes on smoothly and doesn’t feel heavy. My oily face was skeptical, but this is actually great for greasy people!

Ingredients: Water, Caprylic/Capric Triglycerides, Dimethicone, Stearyl Alcohol, Tribehenin, Glycerin, Steareth-20, Hydrogenated Coco-Glycerides, Phenoxyethanol, Dimethiconol, Sucrose Dilaureate, Polysorbate 20, Cyclomethicone, Octyldodercanol, Xanthan Gum, Pisum Sativum (Pea Extract), Steareth-2, Caprylyl Glycol, Hexylene Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Tocopheryl Acetate, Fusanus Spicatus Wood Oil, Santalum Album (Sandalwood) Seed Extract, Sorbitol, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Extract, Berberis Vulgaris Fruit, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Vaccinium Myrtilus Fruit Extract, Saccharum Officinarum (Sugar Cane) Extract, Acer Saccharum (Sugar Maple) Extract, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Fruit Extract, Citrus Medica Limomum (Lemon) Fruit Extract, Calcium Ascorbate, Dimethyl Sulfone, Superoxide Dismutase
