Ole Henriksen Truth Crème Advanced Hydration

In my The Whole Truth kit, I received a 1 ounce jar of this rich cream. The common size is 1.7 oz.

From the website:

“Proper hydration is the way to achieving a youthful complexion. As we age, our skin loses the ability to retain moisture making it even more important to maintain proper hydration. Our NEW mega-moisturizer, truth crème advanced hydration combines nature’s finest ingredients with cutting edge technology, providing you with unmatched moisture and superior anti-aging results.

  • Vitamin C naturally brightens, lightens, and tightens
  • Tripeptide-5 Stimulates collagen synthesis to eliminate fine lines and wrinkles”

This is a richer, slightly thicker cream than the Sheer Transformation.  It smells nice, with a slight citrus scent. I haves switched to this as the after-moisturizer when I use my Invigorating Night Treatment  , and it works nicely, even if it’s a little more greasy. When I wake up the next morning my face is a little oilier than what I experience when I use Sheer Transformation. I notice that my face feels firmer and smoother now.

I think this is an excellent cream for dry skin, mature people, the colder winter months, and those looking for a slightier richer moisturizer. I think this one is a step above ST in that ST is a basic, staple moisturizer while this one is for those who need a little more care. I would only use this at night because it would make my face too greasy to apply makeup in the morning.

I would repurchase this for the winter months. Right now spring is in session in NYC, so I will soon go back to Sheer Transformation.

  1. Sounds lovely, but not what my skin needs, it would probably be too rich.
