Review: Bite Beauty Luminous Creme Lipsticks in Zivoli, Mulberry and Tannin

Over time, I procured these three shades.

Left to right: Zivoli, Mulberry and Tannin.

Zivoli- a true red with distinct orange tones.
Mulberry- a deep plummy berry.
Tannin- a dark red with brown tones.

Top to bottom: Zivoli, Mulberry, Tannin.

While I find the colors to be gorgeous, the wear time with these make me hesitate to repurchase. I got 3 hours of wear out of Tannin, and just about 2 hours out of Zivoli and Mulberry. This was without eating or drinking.

The texture of the lipsticks was very creamy and comfortable. They faded fast, however, and by the third hour I found myself reapplying.

Pros: Beautiful colors, natural ingredients, great packaging, nice consistency and texture.
Cons: Poor wear time.

Grade: B-

  1. I don’t mind reapplying, so this sounds good to me.

  2. Too bad about the wear time. But hey if they’re comfortable and pretty it seems like it’s pretty decent to me! I’m really digging Tannin!
