Products You Like But Can’t Use?

Is there a product you like the idea of or think is nice but can’t use?

I love luxurious shower gels and body washes, but my oily skin doesn’t love them. They also make me feel like I am not clean enough and all the grime from the day isn’t properly washed off. I stopped buying them because I could never finish a bottle, but I always take a look at the Bath & Body Works website to see all the beautiful-sounding scents they have available.

I like soft pink lipsticks like the ones Kate Middleton wears. My complexion is too dark to wear those shades, so I never buy them for myself. I live vicariously through my friend Janna, who is fair enough to wear them. She loves bright, flamingo pinks and I am always pushing her to wear the softer hues (as you can imagine, she’s fed up with me. 😛 )

Cream blushes look so fresh and glowy on other people, but they never last on me. I use them on clients and models, but on myself they slide right off my face, like an inept skater streaks across the ice rink and into the barrier (true story, btw. My arm took weeks to heal).

What are some products you really love and wish you could use but just don’t work for you?

Dewy/glowy foundation. It looks so radiant but I have oily skin so I go from dewy to greasy in like 5 minutes

  6. I actually love the color of blushes, but I have very ruddy cheeks, and rarely wear enough base or cover to blank out my normal skin tone and play with blush.
