L’Oreal HIP Kohl Eyeliner in Teal

This product is a blast from the past. It’s no longer sold in stores but you can find it online.  I got mine from Ebay.

The L’Oreal HIP kohl eyeliner was meant to be a fun, unconventional way to apply eyeliner.

It comes in a little, slim tube with a twist off applicator top.

The actual tip/applicator looks rather serious and dangerous. It’s not that difficult to use, I promise you. It’s not as stiff as it seems, and if you go slowly and take caution, it applies easily enough.

It leaves behind a dark teal streak of powder color.

Would I recommend this? It’s a good gift product for someone who likes unique cosmetics and likes to try different things. I feel like the same results could be accomplished with a decent powder eyeshadow and a mixing medium.

If you like intriguing products and are a collector, this might be for you. I didn’t see anything special in terms of performance, so I am not going to purchase the other shades. I will keep this one.
