Layla Hologram Effect Nail Polish in Coffee Love

I dug this polish out of the untried box. I still have as few more Laylas to swatch.

Coffee Love is a dark brown holo.

At certain angles the holo effect looks great. But for the most part this isn’t too exciting, and that’s a real shame. I don’t see dark brown holos too often, and I was rooting for this one.

It dries down sort of matte and looks dull after just a day of wear. A holo should do more for a person.

I will try to improve this with a shiny top coat, but I don’t recommend it. I’m disappointed because I love holos and I don’t own one like this.

Are there any dark brown holos you like?

Too bad it was disappointing! I was JUST thinking yesterday that I’d love a dark brown holo for fall!
