China Glaze Nail Lacquers in Purple Fiction and Don’t Mesh With Me

I bought just two shades from the Fall 2016.

Purple Fiction (named after Pulp Fiction) is a jewel purple shimmer.

Don’t  Mesh With Me is a sheer lavender shimmer/glitter that can be built up in layers. This is one of those polishes that are made to be a top coat for other polishes.

Below I did, from left to right, one coat to four coats.

As you can see, it takes at least 4 coats for it to fully cover the nail.

Tbh, I don’t really get the 90s reference to this one. If someone figures it out let me know.

What do you think of the colors?

The shades are gorgeous…I guess 90’s reference is due to Disco light or holographic effect 🙂
