Nuxe Creme Fraiche de Beaute Light Moisturizing Emulsion

My best friend’s sister lives in Paris. My BFF is always telling me we should badger her to send us French skin care products.

Not wanting to nag Suzanne, I went looking around on eBay for available brands.

I found a tube of Nuxe for much less than retail value.

There is a regular Creme Fraiche. That one is formulated for dry or normal skin. Creme Fraiche Light is formulated for combination skin.

It contains Plant Milks and White Blossom. It’s meant to hydrate and soothe skin for 24 hours, reduces discomfort, leaves skin soft, fresh and shine-free throughout the day.

I like the consistency of it. It’s on the thick side, but it’s not as immobile as a body butter. This tells me that it does stay on the skin once applied.

When I turn my finger over, it doesn’t dribble down or off.

Here it is smeared on the back of my scary hand.

On my face it feels rich and very moisturizing. I consider this to be a winter face cream for me because it’s not light enough for me to wear it during the summer. It’s still a little heavier for me.

It has a distinct perfumed scent. Some may find it to be rather strong. I’m not bothered by it but I do notice it’s strong. Be wary, folks with fragrance allergies and sensitive noses.

I found it to be a good night cream. Did it make me look more fresh and soothe my skin? Yes, I think so. It didn’t change my life on those terms. I am using this primarily as a night moisturizer.

I’m curious about other Nuxe products. If you have one to recommend, tell me in the comments.
