How Did You First Get Interested in Makeup?

When I was a little girl, my mom wore black eyeliner, Coty Airspun powder and red lipstick from a red ribbed tube that had a gold band around the middle. She would make herself up for work and I would watch her.  She kept all her products on a silver tray on her vanity.

My interest grew from there. That was an early makeup memory for me. So it was basically through watching my mom that I started liking makeup.

How about you? How did you get started?

I am a human pet to two cats, a full time college student majoring in Cultural Anthropology and an organic food enthusiast (read: organic food freak) who cooks, bakes, and has not burned down the kitchen (I'm waiting for it). I used to love when my mom used to use kajal on me, it fascinated me how it made my eyes look more beautiful 🙂 I guess that is why i’m obsessed with kajal/eyeliners 🙂
