e.l.f Prism Eyeshadow in Naked Swatches

I picked this up at CVS one day. I remember being surprised to see e.l.f at CVS. I didn’t know they carried the line.

But opportunities should never be passed up, so I bought this that one fortuitous day.

The eyeshadows have flipped around in the swatches, but I think you can figure out which direction they’re going in. Lol.

The shadows are easy to apply and run over skin smoothly.

They don’t last all day. I think this being an all shimmer palette plays a major part in my eye makeup look fading. Shimmer eyeshadows tend to bleed together when applied as a gradation. A matte eyeshadow tossed into the mix would have made the palette more usable.

For $10 this is not so bad. If you love shimmer, it’s not a bad option. I just know I need to pull out a matte eyeshadow or two when I use this palette.

Happy Saturday! What are your plans for today?

Nice. Shimmer and I never got along. I’ve always tended toward the dark, matte colors. As for Saturday plans, helping the children finish their homework and maybe some jewelry supply inventory. Have a wonderful day! ❤

  2. The swatches are really pretty! And I’ve been seeing e.l.f. everywhere lately so it seems. I’ve even seen them at Walmart!

for 10$ it is a great palette 🙂 Loved the swatches…
