MAC Selena No Me Queda Mas Eyeshadow

The second item I purchased from Nordstrom, NMQM is described as a “warm dusty brown with a Matte finish”.

Here is the swatch.

dscn6966It’s a shade over from deep beige. It is warm brown but I find it can be a little cool toned on me. This is a startling discovery.

I’ve been using it as a crease shade, blending it in to transition my lid shades and add some depth. It works nicely for this purpose.

If you own this, have you noticed it being cool toned?

  1. It looks pretty warm to me in the swatch, but my iPad could be playing me tricks here. Do you usually prefer cooler tones for the crease?

    • It’s pretty warm, you’re right. It just surprised me that it could go cool. I’m still experimenting with it, but I think other eyeshadows I used (which are a little mauve) and not properly color correcting my lids might be contributing factors.
Side note: I gave you a shout out on a skincare post a few days ago. I was hoping you’d return to the blog in time to see it. It’s still up if you want to go look.

  2. Looks fairly warm to me… Either way it’s a lovely color!

the colour looks so warm but i can understand when you say it appears cooler on your lids…gorgeous color it is 🙂
