I promised some reviews from my haul. Here is the first one.

  • With Clarifying Willowbark

“Dissolves excess oil and thoroughly cleanses, to instantly mattify, refresh and rebalance skin.

Active plant extract, Willowbark, is a natural source of salicylic acid, which helps refine skin texture and actively target imperfections.

Developed with Kew Royal Botanical Gardens.

Our beauty scientists use active plant extracts developed with Royal Botanicals Gardens, Kew, to bring you beautiful skincare that’s proven to work.”

It squeezes out of the container in a foam/mousse state. I apply it to my damp skin and massage it on, giving it time to dissolve makeup and grime. The foam remained in this state and did not turn to lather.

After rinsing off the foam with water, my skin felt very clean and it did indeed feel more matte. It felt soft and smooth. It took off all my makeup and left my face feeling clean and refreshed.

If you have oily skin, check this out. It’s a good, affordable cleanser.

  1. I like willow bark. Aside from salicylic acid it contains many tannins which are a good astringent and reduce the appearance of pores.
